Dynamic Paint Effects for Blender

A big struggle in creating my upcoming short movie "Odysseus" , is creating a "futurist" ocean that : obviously display normal weather waves, (and that I could archieve a decent result by using an old displace modifier technique) but where I can be in TOTAL control of: individual waves size, being able to create splash effects in the ongoing simulation, being able to the ocean to "interact" with other objects. And that was quite a daunting task. They are other cg software, like "Maya" , that makes this kind of effects a bit easier... just pressing the "make ocean" button and tweaking the parameters. But still, due the lack of control above settings , I was not quite able to archive my "vanguard look".. That's why I decided to stick with blender: more manual work, but much more control (I think)... Later I'm a bit busy with other aspects of my project , and of my working life... But just today I found a great series of tutorial made by the Youtube User First Grade Calculus ... very artistic and math based, exploring the most experimental (and beautiful ) new possibilities of Blender: The Dynamic Paint Effects I will post soon some experiments made with these techniques.. I see in my mind, already, an ocean shaped in the way I want, and a sky painting itself with geometry and dynamic colors traced by flying futurist birds.. Here they are the tutorials: First, things related to ocean motion (and clouds) Design: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zMTCD4jrEX4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=LatHXsJe7PM Then, about painting with particles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=rE6WmccyV-w https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zMTCD4jrEX4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GgN8Wvd5aPU
